Kudos to Remy Martin!!

In today’s economy it is essential that all companies think outside of the box to attract consumers in our changing economy.

Traditional media is not proving to pull in the numbers as it has in years past. So companies are being forced to get creative and advertise to a new consumer.

We are very proud that one of our clients, Remy Martin, is doing just that. In the December issue of PROMO Magazine, a feature was written on Remy’s new marketing and advertising campaign. In the article they discuss how Remy’s creative force has decided to change how they approach outdoor media. Traditionally using billboards and kiosks has worked for most businesses but today’s times are different and are calling for much more creativity.

Remy’s approach is to gain attention through a “virtual billboard” that actually interacts with consumers to create brand awareness.  Currently the only city they are testing this media is New York City.  The “virtual billboard”  is located at 455 West Broadway in Soho.  The billboard was created to appear as an entrance to an exclusive underground lounge. When you pass the “virtual billboard” there is a sign that prompts you to knock for service. Once someone knocks a “virtual” window opens with a “virtual” doorman, who then proceeds to tell you how to get involved in Remy’s upcoming exclusive events.

Based on how the numbers look once the test billboard phase is over they may set up “virtual billboards” in several other major cities, not to mention holding 700 events nationwide as well.

We love hearing about companies who “step out of the box”, especially when they are one of our clients  :). Way to go Remy!!! We love it.
