Model Jessica Stam has announced that she is teaming up with Rachel Roy to create a capsule collection for the designer’s label. It is said that she will be designing a pair of jeans, a cardigan and a handbag, all of which will be unveiled at New York Fashion Week in October and later be sold at Macy’s department stores.
Now that Shaun White has made a name for himself in snowboarding, the flying tomato switching his efforts to focus on his fashion line. White’s spring collection, Shaun White 4 Target, is hitting stores next month and will feature both boys’ and men’s clothing. The collection will feature boy’s and men’s clothing.
Agyness Deyn announced she’d be starting her own online fashion magazine with a friend. And now she has announced that she will be launching her own clothing line as well. Deyn will be designing for the Japanese branch of Barneys, she has helped produced a special collection featuring 11 items which include dresses, t-shirts, leggings, and scarves. The collection will be on sale at Barneys in Tokyo and will be included in the company’s Go Green Go environmental campaign with proceeds going towards planting trees in inner-Mongolia.

OPRAH’S CLOTHES AUCTION STARTS TODAY!! Oprah is auctioning off TONS of her clothes that she doesn’t want anymore on eBay. Included in the 150 item auction are some barely worn Jimmy Choo shoes, a Chanel handbag and a Carolina Herrera dress. The money raised from the auction will benefit Oprah’s Leadership Academy for girls in South Africa. The auction starts today, March 1st, and ends on the 11th.
Victoria’s Secret models Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes and Miranda Kerr walked in Prada’s Fall 2010 fashion show during Milan Fashion Week. Miuccia Prada said she cast the Angels because of their figures “It’s normal clothes-the silhouette of the ’90s, but using many different kinds of models who are much more womanly.” Apparently Doutzen Kroes agrees, as she says she was happy to walk in the show, saying it was nice to see “a change in more healthy looking women on the runway.”
It is said that Kate Moss will be taking on the role as a ballerina alongside ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov, better known as Carrie Bradshaw’s Russian artist boyfriend on Sex and the City, in a short film. According to sources, Kate has already started taking private ballet lessons with the film’s choreographer and director Michael Clark and will eventually enroll in a three-month training course before filming begins in July.
Last Thursday, two weeks after committing suicide, Alexander McQueen was finally laid to rest at a private funeral in London. The service was attended by family but they plan to hold a memorial service later in the year.

According to reports, an international arrest warrant has been issued for Colombian model Angie Sanselmente Valencia, a former lingerie model turned leader of one of the world’s largest drug gangs! Apparently, the 30-year-old was recruiting models to traffic drugs from South America, through Mexico, and into Europe. The models were paid around $5,000 for each trip they made with some models even making several trips a week. However, a few weeks ago a 21-year-old model working for Valencia was busted at the Buenos Aires airport in Argentina with 55kg of coke and sold out her boss. To make things even more interesting, Valencia used to live in Colombia until last year when she moved to Argentina after breaking up with her Mexican drug-lord boyfriend known as “The Monster”, when she started her own gang. As of today, police believe she’s hiding out in Mexico or Argentina, but have yet to locate her.
Italian Vogue has added some new sections to their website: Vogue Black, Vogue Curvy and Vogue Talents. Vogue Black is dedicated to women of color and Tyra Banks will be the face of the launch. As the name suggests, Vogue Curvy is for the ladies with curvy figures and first features plus size model Crystal Renn. The site offers fashion and beauty tips as well as how to dress your body. Lastly, Vogue Talents is a page the spotlights up and coming talent in the fashion world.

While looking for curvy jeans on Saturday I came across your blog and post about Model Behavior | Premier Image Agency Blog. I could t believe the amount of quality material that exists on this site. The site is extremely eye catching and pulls the reader straight it, the articles are great quality and are very professionally written.
