2 Top Models Become Designers
Barney’s New York has just announced that their location in Japan will be teaming up with the trend-setting supermodel Agnes Deyn to create a line of basics for women. The line will consist of articles like leggings, tee-shirts, and scarves. Prices for Deyn’s designs will range from 212 to 307 American dollars. Though this seems to be a hefty price tag for basics, the model’s designs will are limited edition and only available in Japan. If you find yourself in Japan in the next few months, be sure to stop by Barney’s to check out this great new line.
Deyn isn’t the only model making her way into the designing world. It has just been announced that another popular high fashion model, Jessica Stam will be teaming up with the bold and beautiful designer Rachel Roy to create a few pieces for her line. Stam is set to design jeans, a bag and a cardigan which will be displayed at the next fashion week. The designs are being marketed through Facebook and Twitter updates, so if you aren’t friends with Rachel Roy yet on any of your social media networks, friend her fast to get a sneak peak at Stam’s designs.
