A wedding conglomerate, VOWS,  in Denver, CO had a launch party last Wednesday evening and some of the Premier Image Models were invited to enjoy the festivities.

Premier Image continued some charitable contributions towards the Make-A-Wish Foundation this past weekend by co-sponsoring an auction event at the downtown Denver Marriott titled ‘Wine for Wishes’. PIA also had four wonderful models volunteer their time and services to greet attendees at the door with leis for the ‘Island’ themed event. A big thanks goes out to Mercedes, Robin, Brittany and Tara for helping out with such a great cause.

Some great auction items were up for bid as a Fender Stratocastor Guitar signed by every member of the Fray went for $4,000 and an all inclusive trip to a Sands Resorts in Arizona fetched $7,000. It was a great event and kudos to all of those that bid on items and attended such a worth while event.

Every year PIA gets the privilege of staffing promotional sampling tents at the annual Denver Zoo’s, ‘Do at the Zoo‘. This year involved over 50 great local restaurants that were putting their best foot forward with great food at every turn to sample. Republic National Distributing once again supplied the event with great tasting spirits that had everyone enjoying flavors from all over the globe.

Singer/Songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov was definitely a hit with the large crowd that attended the special event. An estimated crowd of over 6,000 wined and dined the evening away while getting a chance to view the animals that they were there to support. This year’s beneficiary was the new ten-acre Asian Tropics conservation center and every dollar raised was matched by the Zoo Improvement Bonds fund.

Through music, great food, close-up animal encounters, world spirits and more, the 20th Anniversary of ‘Do at the Zoo’ was a great success and PIA can’t wait to be a part of this great cause next year.

Well maybe you can’t call it a video more than a classic 1980’s fitness video.

The fitness video was shot with Houston Texans wide receiver David Anderson who was caught by Conan O’Brien last season pulling out the television hosts signature ‘String Dance’ in the endzone as he scored his first of two touchdowns last season. Conan talked about David’s endzone dance on his show the week following the touchdown celebration and commented how the announcers were telling Anderson that he needed to work on his celebration dance. Although the announcers calling the game had no apparent idea that Anderson was performing somewhat of a homage to the late night talk show host, the country quickly learned of the wide receiver’s hip shaking moves as it spread around the internet.

Now, David has come out with a video of his own showing Conan that he not only can do the string dance, but that he can also teach a class on how to do it. The PIA models are in David’s class having a great time learning how to do the ‘String Dance’! Check out the video below and enjoy. It starts out slow but then gets right into it.

Lane is our male featured model and he is kept very busy with bookings in our Las Vegas Market. Lane is a very experienced print model and has been booked for many local and national campaigns. One of the country’s largest Cinco de Mayo festivals takes place in Denver every May and last weekend Tecate Light had the Premier Image Agency models promoting throughout. Tecate Light had several elements to the promotion which involved a street team element “Operation Cerveza”, and the Tecate Light “Ring Girls” for the interactive boxing activity.  The branding was excellent and was very visible from all angles in and around the festival. Whether it was the models from PIA, or the refreshing taste of Tecate Light, we are sure the brand will resonate with those consumers for a very long time to come!

Thanks to everyone who volunteered, attended and donated auction items for “Lucy’s Wish”. On April 11th, Premier Image Agency partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant the wish of a 14 year old girl named Lucy. Lucy’s wish is to attend NY Fashion Week in 2010.

The event was a complete success and we were so pleased Lucy and her family could join us too. The silent auction had some amazing items that people could not wait to bid on.

On April 11th we are doing an amazing event, for an awesome cause. We are partnering with Make A Wish Foundation to grant the fabulous wish of Lucy. Lucy is a 14 year old girl with hypoplastic anemia, her life wish is to go to NY Fashion Week 2010. We felt particularly drawn to help grant Lucy’s wish as we are in the fashion industry and feel we could really help make this special girls dream come true.

Some of you may know Make A Wish Foundation is one of the charities we work with here at PIA. This is the first time Make A Wish has actually partnered with this agency exclusively on an event and we feel very honored they are allowing us to throw this event in order to grant Lucy’s wish.

Our goal is to raise enough money through event sponsorships and donations for our silent auction to grant Lucy’s wish. We realize it is a difficult time for everyone right now in this economy, but we always have to remind ourselves we are so lucky as we still all have our health!
